Position Overview

  • Position manages the sale of quality pre-owned boats and extended service products as part of a new business within Brunswick.

  • The role involves actively managing and helping refine the following processes:

    • Lead management/qualification

    • On-site customer engagement

    • On-water sea trial

    • Deal closing / customer registration

    • Customer satisfaction management

  • The closing process involves the active selling of extended service contracts, as well as coordinating with an outside F&I provider to secure customer financing and insurance (as required).

  • Other duties include:

    • Pricing/valuation of incoming boats, both at the fleet level and individual customer trade-ins

    • Managing inventory photography and online listings of boats for sale (working closely with admin and operations team)

    • Engaging with yard tech to prepare/clean/reposition boats on the lot for showing and sea trial.

    • Frequent use and updating of dealer management system software, including frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of operations

  • This position is a full-time , salaried position with a terrific benefits package and bonus based on performance.

  • Most of the boats being sold are between 19-26’

  • Limited travel within east/central Florida

 

Requirements

  • Must have technical knowledge of boats, as well as typical restoration processes, and market values

  • Must be self-driven and results oriented

  • Captains License preferred

  • Must have strong customer service skills, be likeable, trustworthy, and have excellent time and people management skills

  • 3+ years of boating/marine industry experience

  • 3+ years customer facing sales experience, with services sales experience preferred (extended warranties, financing/insurance, support services, etc.)

  • Ability to tow a boat with company vehicle to ramp for Sea Trials if necessary

  • May participate with maintaining fleet and provide feedback on Sea Trials

  • Ability to occasionally work in a non-climate controlled environment

  • Ability to be flexible outside core hours when needed

 

Work Schedule

Must have the availability to work from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Wednesday - Sunday.  Brunswick reserves the right to adjust shifts and work times as business needs evolve.
