SYSTEMS PROGRAM ANALYST

Daiwa, located in Cypress, CA has an excellent opportunity for a skilled (Systems) Program Analyst to work with internal and external users to gather/maintain requirements for system including; system maintenance, troubleshooting, user support and additional system functions as needed. The requirements of the role will be driven by the technology needs of internal staff and outside customers with focus on increasing system functionality and meeting business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
• Participate in the planning, design and implementation of system solutions or enhancements that help keep internal tools and data flows up to date and working across the organization
• Provide users with functional understanding and operation of business modules in current ERP System- (MS NAV)
• Assist employees with technology solutions in person, by telephone or through email communications.

Requirements:

·      Prior experience working on Microsoft ERP platforms (NAV, GP or AX)

·      Ability to program in VB.Net or C

·      Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.

·      Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

·      Ability to work with product help centers for technical support.

·      Ability to document program modifications and operational steps.

·      Strong working knowledge of Microsoft platform tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc).

Desired but not required:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related highly preferred

·      Prior working experience with EDI

·      Working knowledge of Windows 10 Pro

·      Ability to install and relocate computer equipment when necessary (computer, printers, switches, etc.)

·      Working knowledge of Windows servers.
