Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the CRM Manager is an action-oriented doer who knows how to accelerate digital brand performance, execute CRM strategies, conduct analysis across multiple channels, employ marketing automation strategies,  and deploy tactics designed to acquire, retain, reactivate, and reward customers across all segments and channels.

The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach to problem solving with hands-on experience running a multichannel digital marketing and demand generation (SEO, PPC, SEM, email, social media, content creation) program, with a strong background in marketing automation, lead management, and customer segmentation. The candidate will also lead internal and external data management relationships.

This role is a unique opportunity to blend the art and science required to grow our Direct to Consumer channels through innovative strategies and management of our database.  This role will work with our global sister companies to help drive a company that is in the midst of a global digital transformation.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assists, builds, and executes innovative and effective multichannel digital marketing programs that support business objectives and marketing priorities
  • Measures, analyzes, and reports digital marketing KPIs by channel with analysis against goals (RoAS, ROI, ACoS, LTV etc)
  • Serves as the business strategy leader for the CRM Database and Analytics platform (Google Analytics) leveraging the CRM platform to understand, analyze, and optimize customer lifetime value
  • Develops and manages an innovative Loyalty Program, focusing on personalization, testing, and driving engagement and retention
  • Owns all aspects of market and consumer research, including both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and analyses
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing & Product teams to establish and continually improve prospective and current customer segmentation strategy & implementation
  • Monitors customer migration across various predetermined segments
  • Defines and monitors success at the program, customer segment and campaign levels. Identifies and reports on Health of the Customer KPIs to track effectiveness of the all programs
  • Serves as a knowledge leader, using structured problem solving to craft and execute thoughtful insights and agendas
  • Participates in the promotion development process in conjunction with Sales, Product, and Channel teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all promotional activity
  • Partners with internal support resources to analyze and develop insights for marketing campaigns and communicate to relevant parties within the business via postmortems
  • Identifies and creates areas and opportunities to improve the customer journey through new data points, emerging tools, and technologies 
  • Manages external vendors across SEM (SEO & PPC), affiliate, email, social media, display, remarketing, etc. channels 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES

  • Experience and knowledge across demand generation best practices including SEM (SEO & PPC), email, display, etc.
  • Proficient use of Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tool preferred 
  • Experience in ecommerce or e-tail preferred
  • Experience with journey mapping and campaign/marketing automation services
  • Experience using attribution models to understand customer journeys preferred
  • Proficient knowledge and experience using tools and technologies used for site management (i.e. CMS, eCommerce platforms)
  • Very high functional use of Excel, Tableau (or similar), Google Analytics, and Salesforce required
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to partner well cross-functionally and build strong relationships with a collaborative working style
  • Strong drive towards innovation and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn about and work within the firearms industry

 

EXPERIENCE\EDUCATION

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.  
  • 3-4+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on demand generation, CRM, Market Research, Business Analysis, and or Database Marketing

 

WORKING CONDITIONS\PHYSICAL DEMANDS  

  • Work is performed in a professional environment
  • Must be able to work independently/autonomously for extended periods of time 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to perform travel as needed; local and within the U.S. 
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 15 lbs.
