Looking for a qualified service technician with 1-5 years plus experience with marine and watercraft repair along with small engine and some power sports experience to start ASAP. Some auto repair experience is a plus. *** Pay $20- $35/hour DOE & Negotiable*** BENEFITS, NO WEEKENDS. WEEKLY PAY. FLEXIBLE HOURS IF NEEDED. START ASAP. Duties: Examine boat and discuss the nature and extent of damage or malfunction/repairs with the service advisor or customer. Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of marine engines and transmissions/drives/generators. Perform mechanical repair work such as: - remove engine, outdrive- disassemble unit and inspect parts for wear- overhaul or replace carburetors, alternator, distributors, starters, pumps, impeller, electrical and fuel systems- rebuild/replace parts such as engine long block- rewire ignition system, lights and instrument panel- install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, trolling motors and depth finders. Safely operate customer's vessels during diagnostic water testing operations. Performing trailer bearing repack and trailer rewire. Team player, and willing to learn.
