Job Description

In this role, the CBP Representative will provide superior customer experiences with our retailers at every touch point, assisting dealers and customers grow their Simms branded logo business through on-time delivery focusing on high-quality branding/logo processes, strict adherence to quality, and timeliness with an eye for detail. This role will average 20 hours a week, with potential increase of hours during peak periods and reduction in slow periods.

Outcomes of this role include:

  • Manage all aspects of retailer Custom Branding Program needs: order placement, product and logo recommendations, fulfillment, issue resolution, program evolution & development
  • Effectively balances a variable workload, shifting when necessary to meet the demands of the department and company- This includes assist with processing warranty/repairs, non-logo asap orders and call overflow of all types
  • Reviews and confirms retailers’ artwork and images prior to production, driving for accuracy on every order, delivering exactly what is expected
  • Persistently aims for and exceed or achieves retailer-provided timelines
  • Drive sales growth in the channel, plus maintaining reporting
  • Lead seasonal transitions including: CBP Brochure creation, updates to ordering tools, inventory planning
  • Proactively partner with production partners to ensure effective communication and processes are in place
  • Demonstrate high level of professionalism through timely & effective communication via all channels
  • Diligently learns, utilizes, and understands Simms’ system including NAV, Elastic, Artifi, EmbTrak embellishment software, and possesses a working familiarity with programs such as Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
  • Support and assist sales management as necessary

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Strong customer service experience, preferably in the outdoor industry via retail or in-house sales/service
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to problem solve and actively listen with a focus on win-win solutions
  • Capacity to task switch quickly, balancing a large inbound phone/email workload in compressed timeframes
  • Technical aptitude with inventory management systems and programs used to track, manage, and process orders, product returns and inventory assessment
  • Obsessive need to ensure all T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted
