POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Now Developer plays a key role in the development and maintenance of the Service Now ITSM and ITOM deployments at Bass Pro. The successful candidate will be able to complete assignments independently while managing customer expectations. Collaboration, strong interpersonal skills, process and workflow-minded, creative and solution orientation, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot is a must. Using Service Now best practices, translate business requirements to implement technical solutions while working with standard design principles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Translates business requirements to implement technical solutions while working with standard design principles.
Drives process optimization, efficiencies and productivity using automation and the integration plug-ins to third party applications.
Produces high-level and/or detailed design requirements that can be managed through a backlog and implemented using ServiceNow best practices.
Effectively works with stakeholders both internally and externally to identify and formulate workflow solutions to improve business and technology processes.
Estimates development effort for set requirements aligning to business priorities.
Acts as a mentor to support less experienced colleagues and drive adoption.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related program
Certificate(s) or License(s): ITIL Foundations, Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator
Experience: 4+ years of experience in Service Now design, optimization, and development
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Demonstrated experience working with workflows in ITSM and ITOM areas of the ServiceNow platform
Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into Service Now workflows
Strong analytical skills, communication, and presentation skills
Experience in working in an Agile, Scrum environment
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 15%, unless located in Springfield, MO.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular computer work and sitting
Occasional walking and sitting
Seldom lifting, up to 50lbs
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
