Summary
Guest Service Attendants are required to work closely with the Front Desk Staff, Management and other hotel departments in providing exceptional guest service including but not limited to guest luggage assistance, deliveries/runner, Courtesy Shuttle Driver, local information source and other misc. needs as required.

Education and/or Experience: Highschool Diploma or equivalent and/or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and written correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to guest, employees and vendors.
Mathematical Skills: Elementary knowledge level required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning and comprehension: Ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral, or in diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standard situations.
Computer Skills: Basic understanding of the Internet, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Physical Demands: Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation Physical. Required for driving commercial vehicles (Courtesy Shuttle). While performing the duties of this position, the Attendant is regularly required to stand/sit for long periods of time; use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with arms, speak and hear. Attendant is regularly required to sit while driving, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, and move with a sense of urgency. Attendant must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and be able to seek assistance with over 50lbs. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust and focus and be able to drive at night. Position requires the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
Driving History: Must maintain a safe driving record and report any infractions, tickets or accidents to your manager immediately.
Certificates, Licenses and registrations: Attendants must have the equivalent, or be able to obtain upon hire, a State of Tennessee Class D with an “F” endorsement License or state of residency equivalent.
Availability: Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
