Position Purpose:
This System Administrator position will be primarily accountable to provide operational support of Vulnerability Management processes for Windows Desktops. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of vulnerability remediation of Operating System patching and application updates in our environment.
The position will function in both implementation and support stages of remediations and will provide services in a variety of areas including, but not limited to system administration and security.
Responsibilities:
Performs software updates and upgrades to Windows OS with SCCM
Maintains patch and vulnerability management best practices to protect against the exploitation of known/detected vulnerabilities
Demonstrates strong communication and organizational abilities.
Performs periodic performance reporting to support the Vulnerability Management program.
Schedules security updates and upgrades maintaining them in accordance with established policies, procedures, and SLAs.
Ensures operating system integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Employs shop standards within the context of job responsibilities. Understands and applies change management procedures/principles.
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
Years of Experience: 3+
English Level: Upper intermediate (B2+)
Skills and Qualifications:
Familiar with Tenable Security Scanning tools.
Experience with Windows hardware and software.
Experience with Active Directory, SCCM.
Strong problem determination skills and experience.
Experience with Windows OS and various other operating systems depending on assignment.
Experience with SCCM to manage, deploy updates and security patches
Scripting languages: TSQL, WSE, VBScript, PowerShell, and Bash.
Knowledge of Admin Studio is a plus.
Strong collaboration and communication skills
