Senior DevOps Engineer

Located in San Diego, CA, Foresight Sports is a designer and manufacturer of performance analysis and game enhancement technologies. Our products include launch monitors, simulators, performance/entertainment software, and smart mobility solutions for a variety of sports and games. We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our talented team! Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the Senior DevOps Engineer be a key driver introducing processes, tools, and methodologies to balance the needs throughout the software development life cycle.

General Purpose

• Senior DevOps Engineer for Foresight Sports software and firmware products

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain build and release pipelines for software and firmware products across the company
• Implement DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and package management for engineering projects
• Migrate legacy build systems to new platforms and frameworks
• Alleviate bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle using modern tooling and automation
• Design and document new processes for developing, building, and deploying applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level software engineers

Requirements/Qualifications

• Min. 5 years’ experience building commercial software applications on a wide range of platforms such as Unity, iOS, Android, or .NET
• Experience working within all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Experience creating automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar technologies
• Experience implementing common DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and package management to streamline development and deployment of software applications
• Solid knowledge of C++, C#, and object-oriented programming
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Bonus:

• Background in Unity or iOS development
• Experience with Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience working with Jenkins or other automation software
• Experience with test-driven development and writing unit tests
• Git version control

Minimum Education Required

• Bachelors Science or equivalent
