Job Description

Fiber Energy Products is a state-of-the-art wood pellet manufacturing facility located in the pristine forests of northern Arkansas. We also have a second facility located in beautiful southern Missouri. Our facilities first began producing 100% all-natural wood pellet fuel in 2006. Since then, we have become the foremost manufacturer of premium hardwood and softwood heating pellets, BBQ and grilling pellets, and animal bedding throughout the midwestern and southern United States

General Purpose

The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting with the shipping and receiving processes. This position may also be required to assist with other duties as assigned.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and ensure they sign the visitor or driver pick up logs
• Answers phones and gives accurate information regarding scheduling and deliveries
• Assists plant manager and production team with various inventory data entry
• Must be good with numbers and be able to create and maintain spreadsheets containing inventory data to assist various departments
• Responds to email and phone inquiries from vendors and customers
• Assists shipping dept with tasks such as creating labels and other paperwork associated with outbound and inbound loads
• Scans and property file documents electronically and hard copy
• Orders office supplies and ensures all other necessary supplies are well stocked
• Must be able to work in a somewhat dusty and loud, busy industrial environment
• Must be able to lift 20-30lbs
• Provides other duties as assigned

Position Requirements/Qualifications

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of logistics preferred
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a busy manufacturing environment
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Quickbooks and/or Netsuite
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Knowledge of Retail Link, SAP a plus
• Preferred Associates degree or higher in a related field, but equivalent experience is considered
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
• Must be able to meet requirements of the full job description
