We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our talented team and manage key strategic partners, specifically Amazon, for the Hunt/Shoot Accessories Division of Vista Outdoor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve assigned revenue and profit objectives as established by leadership. Help build, develop, and execute the annual sales plans, customer marketing plans, and budgets.
Continually monitor and analyze category and item performance and pivot as necessary to maximize sales, profits, and market share.
Develop strong internal relationships with various marketing, trade marketing, and product development teams to develop and implement winning strategies and tactics for new product launches.
Develop, manage, and execute promotional and advertising programs. Manage spends within provided budgets and build out campaign strategies to maximize ROI and meet/exceed customer expectations.
Partner with customer teams to elevate and optimize Vista’s brand exposure across the customers’ websites to ensure best in class brand messaging and product presentation
Negotiate and manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement rolling 12-month customer promotional plan to take advantage of key customer promotional periods that will generate incremental revenue and brand exposure
Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to develop detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, by item, for each assigned account while considering product lead times, promotional activity, and customer inventories.
Drive service levels and reduce chargebacks by working with internal operations teams and customer supply chain teams to improve service levels and reduce chargebacks.
Be the in-house expert and repository of knowledge of all Amazon platform changes, policies, and best practices.
Develop and maintain and understanding of market and industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Degree minimum: 4-year degree
Minimum 5+ years of direct and hands-on experience in sales and/or channel marketing with consumer goods.
Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience working with Amazon with proven results.
Experience developing and managing trade/promotional budgets with history of improving spend performance.
Proven history of working with Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Advertising platforms.
Ability to effectively work with and connect with various internal customers.
Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
