Job Summary:

The Testing Engineer is a vital member of the Development group and is responsible for creating, improving and carrying out testing procedures. The engineer will determine how to create and maintain processes that would best test a particular product in manufacturing, quality assurance or related areas.



  • Follow, setup, conduct and run all Test Plans as written and scheduled
  • Assist with the gathering of results as well as writing and publishing test reports to the team
  • Conduct Sanity Test after every formal release of the Android c-monster App
  • Conduct Sanity Test after every formal release of the IOS c-monster App
  • Items 3 & 4 are NOT to be confused or used in place of Software Development Testing
  • Assist on gathering Test Requirements and Create Test Plans from available documentation
  • Assist creating a General Mobile App Test Plan for c-monster that will provide coverage for both IOS and Android devices
  • Conduct Full Regression Functional Test for the Apps and or assemblies after releases (both for new features and sustaining when appropriate)
  • Update Test Plans
  • Assist on incorporating Mobile App Test Automation




  • Able to understand, follow and conduct written Test Plans
  • Attention to details and Eagerness to find issues
  • Familiarity with Black Box and White Box Testing
  • Able to understand Basic Test Engineering concepts
  • Able to understand Basic Electronic Concepts
  • Able to understand Basic Software Process concepts
  • Able to communicate verbally and Written
  • Familiarity with the Advanced Modes and Developments Settings for both IOS and Android Mobile devices
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth, WIFI and USB Software Protocols and technologies
  • Familiarity with connecting hardware test Medias such as Serial Ports, GPIB, USB, WIFI and SPI
  • Familiarity with technical Terms and writing
  • Willingness to learn Software Systems utilized for Mobile App Test Automation
  • Willingness to learn Database and remote record collection techniques
  • Familiarity with Software development languages such as C#, Java, C, Python
  • Familiarity with Software development environments such as Eclipse, Java Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Familiarity with Version Management Tools such as GitHub and Team Foundation


Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year College; or 1 – 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
