Are you mechanically inclined and ready for a hands-on, fast-paced challenge? Pure Fishing is on the lookout for a Reel Repair Technician to ensure our customers' reels stay in top condition! We offer a fun, team-focused environment with great pay and opportunities to grow.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50/hour, dependent on experience. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, with potential for overtime on Fridays.

What will you do?

As a Reel Repair Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by performing high-quality repairs with speed and precision. You'll collaborate closely with our Customer Service and Parts teams and occasionally connect with Product Innovation and Production departments regarding reel performance and product improvements.

You’ll also have direct interaction with customers—whether by phone, email, or in person—offering technical support and product insights.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and perform repairs on fishing reels with accuracy and efficiency
• Use reel schematics to guide repair processes
• Communicate effectively with customers, both technically and professionally
• Collaborate with internal teams to report product issues and trends
• Process transactions using SAP
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and time sheets
• Support technical training and provide assistance to warranty service centers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Deliver service with enthusiasm, urgency, and a customer-first attitude
• Occasionally travel as needed
• Assist with other duties as assigned

What Makes You a Great Catch?

• Mechanically inclined with strong manual dexterity
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Able to read and interpret technical schematics
• Proficient in basic computer operations and math
• High school diploma or GED required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on setting
• Fishing product knowledge is a plus!
