Is Outdoor Occupations a recruiter?

Outdoor Occupations is not an agency, nor a recruiter - it is a jobs board. We are a jobs listing site - a place to go to find high quality outdoor enthusiast candidates in one convenient place. Employers, agencies, and recruiters in the fishing, boating, marine, hunting, conservation, hiking, biking, and more outdoor recreation related industries can come to our site to find a large selection of qualified job seekers such as writers, marketers, advertisers, managers, salespeople, wildlife officers, creative professionals, customer service representatives, technicians, etc. 


Why should I use Outdoor Occupations to find talent?

How do I post jobs?

First, create a free employer account.  Then, visit the employer products page to purchase job listings (several pricing packages available).  Also on the employer products page are featured job listings, featured employer, and free internship listings.   Products that you purchase will automatically be added to the "Purchased Products" block on the main dashboard page of your employer account.


Can I edit my job post after I’ve already posted it?

Yes of course! In order to edit your job post simply log in to your account and access the employer dashboard and click on 'Job Postings'. From here you will be able to see a list of your active vacancies. Simply click on the job you wish to change to and the job post page will open, allowing you to make changes quickly and easily. 


How do I Cancel A Recurring Subscription?

To cancel a recurring subscription, login to your employer account, go to the "My Account" section, and click the "Cancel" button in the "Purchased Products" block.  This action just cancels the scheduled recurring payment, not the job listing itself.  Upon canceling the recurring subscription, the job will remain active until the expiration of the subscription plan purchased. 


What is your refund policy?

Our monthly subscription payment jobs listing plans are sold "as is". Subscription renewals occur automatically on the schedule laid out during the subscription signup process. Renewals may be cancelled at any time. After a transaction (subscription or renewal) has occurred, no refunds (including partial or prorated) will be issued. The customer assumes the responsibility to cancel their subscription before scheduled renewal dates.

How do I submit press releases for the Outdoor Occupations blog?

If you would like to send us an announcement or press release related to new hires, outdoor jobs, and hiring to be shared on our website; please contact us with your announcement and one of our team members will be in touch with you.  Company new hire announcements are free to post!
