Job Description:
Manages the installation, repair, upkeep and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and preventive maintenance for all buildings & grounds, facilities, equipment and fire suppression systems for the Distribution Center. May also supervise DC housekeeping or provide maintenance services for retail facilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Directs and oversees maintenance and housekeeping staff in performance of site duties. Supervises the daily activities of personnel, schedules and assigns work, checks for completion and quality of work, and aids associates in achieving company and personal goals.
Ensures all warehouse equipment is properly serviced and maintained for a highly automated and technical facility by performing preventative maintenance to include, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic assessment/repair and provide direction to the Automated Systems Technician.
Manages the completion of projects with minimal business interruption. Supervises internal staff and/or outside vendors in the completion of projects involving buildings, facilities, grounds, equipment, and fire suppression systems.
Coordinates the work of outside vendors/contractors on capital projects or repairs. Obtains bids on labor, materials and schedules and communicates with Sr. Operations management for project scheduling and progress.
Administers the ordering of janitorial and maintenance supplies and contracts for waste disposal services. Identifies parts and supplies needed to maintain appropriate level of inventory and spare parts to minimize downtime and limit expenses.
Keeps site management appraised of projects and status of day-to-day operations. Attends operations meetings, prepares reports on project status, budget, inventory, scheduling of work, and outstanding issues.
Maintains a safe workplace. Assists in the facility's team effort to maintain a safe workplace by maintaining compliance and correcting routine issues.

Requirements:
Associate’s Degree or Apprenticeship
4 to 6+ Years’ Experience
Licensed Electrician (preferred)
Maintenance supervisory or management position in a large facility with mechanical, electrical, or construction skills (preferred)
Maintenance Tech with increasing responsibility for supervising people and projects (required)
Salary is commensurate with experience
