POSITION SUMMARY:
The Snack Shop Captain oversees the daily operations of the snack shop, coffee shop or deli including appearance and presentation, customer experience, professional leadership and direction to all employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
Demonstrates knowledge of the entire food and beverage menu and its preparation.
Enforces safety and sanitary practices and maintenance for the entire operations.
Completes all relevant SOPs (compliance and procedural items).
Completes all relevant Systems in Place.
Exercises good judgement and makes appropriate decisions

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 6 months of restaurant management experience; experience in serving and managing beer, wine and liquor

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
