POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk II works within the Accounts receivable department for White River Marine Group and is responsible for the associated invoice and billing activities. Activities include daily invoice audits, sales order approvals, dealer payments application and processing of credit memos. Responsibilities also include recording of sales transactions, related cash activity and dealer account reconciliations for financial reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Enters approvals for orders into the system for various order types (e.g. 3rd party dealers, prepaid orders, net 30 orders, international, memo bills and no charge orders).
Posts all payments including cash, checks, credit cards and wires to appropriate dealer account.
Reconciles assigned dealer accounts.
Provides timely and professional responses to dealers and/or proactively contacts dealers on invoice or account questions.
Completes system and miscellaneous credits and inventory transfers on daily basis.
Completes process for warranty titles and documentation paperwork received from the warranty department.
Engages in monthly collection efforts for past due balances through follow-up calls and emails.
Completes certain month-end and year-end activities for financial statement close, including recording journal entries for cash, Warranty/COOP, sales, promos, marketing and other miscellaneous activity. Balances AR Trade with posting logs, finance charges, and mail out of final dealer statements.
Reconciles AR aging details.
