POSITION SUMMARY:
The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical, digital, and integrated systems across White River Marine Group product platforms. This role helps ensure systems are effectively incorporated into production and perform reliably in customer, dealer, and field environments. The position works cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, and Service teams to resolve technical issues, support product launches, and improve overall product performance. The Engineer Technician serves as a key technical resource, bridging manufacturing, service, and engineering through hands-on diagnostics, root cause analysis, technical support, testing, and field feedback to enhance product quality, reliability, and the customer ownership experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate Degree, Technical Certificate, Vocational Training, or Military Technical Training in Electrical Technology, Marine Technology, Automotive Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Up to 10%. Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities, dealer locations, test sites, supplier locations, or field locations as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Works under general supervision while exercising independent judgment in troubleshooting, diagnostics, root cause analysis, and issue resolution. Responsible for identifying and resolving moderately complex technical issues within established procedures while providing recommendations that improve product quality, reliability, serviceability, and customer satisfaction.
