POSITION SUMMARY: This role helps create a welcoming environment by keeping public guest and associate spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitizing restrooms, dining venues, amenities’ areas, break rooms and other assigned spaces. The role requires a high level of dependability, detail-oriented, efficiency and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces, including restrooms, guest areas, dining venues, and associate facilities.
· Complete routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing in accordance with department standards.
· Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas to ensure a polished appearance.
· Empty waste and recycling receptacles and maintain designated outdoor and indoor disposal areas.
· Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, delivering exceptional service and support.
· Safely use, handle, and store cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment while following all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
· Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to support efficient daily operations.
· Follow established safety, cleanliness, and service standards while supporting team members and completing additional duties as assigned.
· ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Degree Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Minimum Years of experience: 1-2 years General housekeeping or cleaning
Required Certificate(s) or License(s): State Issued Chauffer’s license in the state employed or resident
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
· General knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence in English
· Ability to work irregular hours, including events, weekends, and holidays based on property’s guest schedules and visits
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral communication mediums
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
· 5-10%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly walks and stands.
Occasionally sits and lifts up to 50lbs.
Seldomly or never completes computer work.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
