The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is seeking an Outreach Assistant to support the Development and Event efforts in our Washington, DC office.

About CSF:

Since 1989 the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted sportsmen's organization in the political arena. CSF's mission is to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping. The unique and collective force of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus (GSC) and the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC), working closely with CSF, and with the support of major hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping organizations, serves as an unprecedented network of pro-sportsmen elected officials that advance the interests of America's hunters and anglers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all auctions, including recruitment of items, inventory management, organize online auction software, and prepare every auction before each event;
  • Fulfillment of CSF’s merchandise for our individual giving program, Sporting Society;
  • Manage CSF’s 3 storage units, basement, and keeping the CSF office tidy when items come in, and after we are finished with an event;
  • Assist in fundraising efforts including promotional efforts;
  • Assist with event preparation;
  • Research new opportunities and make initial contact to further outreach efforts;
  • Will perform a variety of administrative support tasks; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree;
  • Proficient with MS Office;
  • Fundraising experience a plus;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently within a collaborative team atmosphere;
  • Hill or state legislative experience a plus; and
  • Supporter of hunting, recreational shooting, fishing and professional fish and wildlife management.
